Montecito restaurateur Gene Montesano and partner Leslee Russell opened the Montesano Market & Deli with a simple vision: to bring the authentic flavors of Italy directly to the heart of Coast Village Road.
Every item on our shelves and in our deli case is hand-selected — from D'Angelo breads baked fresh daily to imported Italian olive oils, pastas, and artisan cheeses sourced directly from the regions that made them famous.
What started as a neighborhood market has become a Montecito institution — a gathering place where locals come for their morning coffee and egg dishes, lunchtime piadinas, and evening provisions for dinner at home.
